We are an inclusive, clean, and safe environment where each child can thrive.
We have the right equipment for all ages and levels. From wider beams for chubby little toddler toes to competition quality uneven bars for our competitive gymnasts, and a 40' trampoline beginners through advanced tumblers we have the right equipment for your child's age and stage. And mat's cover every inch of our learning space, so things stay soft!
All of our equipment is cleaned daily, in between classes, and deep cleaned quarterly. We perform safety inspections on all equipment to keep our community healthy and safe. We are also committed to upholding the SafeSport guidelines (learn more here).
Meet KW Sports Academy's Owner
Hi, I'm Suzanne Trosset
I’m so excited for Key West Sports Academy to resume serving the Lower Keys! I’ve been in the gymnastics industry for over 25 years.
In the 90s and early 2000s, I rocked a crushed-velvet leotard as a competitive gymnast in Michigan and then Florida. Once my family moved South I fell in love with All Star Cheerleading, flying high on level 6 Open team with Orlando All Stars (now Top Gun Orlando) is one of the highlights of my athletic memories.
I’ve been a gym owner for going on two decades which has allowed me to sharpen my philosophies, lessons, and strategies for growing our programs.
I’ve got two awesome kids, one great husband, and a a small flock of chickens.

We work with you to become your gymnast’s personal hype squad.
Our staff are thoughtful about the way we lead children. We know this might be a child’s first experience with organized sports (or tenth) and we strive to make it a positive one.
Each of our coaches is specially trained in early childhood development, instructional practice, and professional cat herding. We are here to support you in raising confident, resilient, hardworking, and caring children who will grow to be the leaders and shakers of our future.
Skills for Sports & School Alike
We keep things rigorous and age-appropriate. From learning how to line up, to falling safely (that'll come in handy on the playground), we help your kid's build skills that’ll last way beyond the gym.
Little Learners
We focus on what’s physically, emotionally & cognitively right for each child's age. Nurturing creativity, imagination, concentration and decision-making. At KW Sports Academy, we encourage them to be little while they explore, play & grow at their own pace.
